OUR CURRENT MORTGAGE DEBT IS $152,021.71!
With the help of your generous contribution, we will be able to eliminate our church mortgage this year. Once we are debt-free, we can begin building for a brighter future in our community and increase our impact in the world through the support of missions. God told Habakkuk in 2:2. “…Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”
Thus, we have devised a simple 1-3-5 year campaign plan that will enable us to do the following; First year: eliminate our church mortgage; Third year: build a senior citizens retirement facility; and Fifth year: erect a family educational training facility on the east side of our city for disadvantaged children. By retiring the church mortgage, we will be able to create much-needed educational and social programs and services in our city.
THE VISION
(1) The Ruth C. Pryor Senior Citizens Retirement Home
The Ruth C. Pryor Senior Citizens Retirement Home will create a safe environment for seniors to enjoy this rewarding season in their lives and to provide for those who have lost their spouses by catering to their unique needs with a professional barber & beauty shop, vibrant gathering spaces for family and friends, and shuttle transportation to worship services and Bible study.
(2) The Bishop Marvin C. Pryor Impact Center
The Bishop Marvin C. Pryor Impact Center will be an educational training facility that will house a range of empowerment programs for youth and adults in our community. At the Bishop Marvin C. Pryor Impact Center youth will have the opportunity to develop their natural talents, which will give them an advantage in their academic endeavors, as well as in the future when they are ready to pursue their career interest. These programs will include a Kingdom Leaders Institute, music & math classes, creative arts, a technology lab, and a recreation center with a state-of-the art “Kids Zone” where young children can increase their coordination, balance, and fine motor skills.

We are asking for 200 people to partner with us at one of the following giving levels:
Bronze level: $1,000-4,999 Gold level: $10,000-14,999
Silver level: $5,000-9,999 Platinum level: $15,000-24,999
Double Platinum Level: $25,000 and up

THE MANIFESTATION
In February 2010 the church owed 1.6 million on the mortgage. Last year, VBM members pledged an additional $128,000 to eliminating the church mortgage debt so that we can increase our support of local, national and global missions and make a greater impact in our community and beyond.
Now is the time to keep the momentum going and to press forward toward our goal of TOTAL ELIMINATION of the church mortgage. We know that God has a tremendous blessing for those who are willing to sow a faith seed into this ministry so that we can continue to do ministry that transforms lives. There is NOTHING too hard for God!
